Online Job Fair To Hire Veterans, Reservists and their Spouses

An ONLINE job fair to link employers with ex-military, reservist and military spouse jobseekers in Scotland will take place this October. The event is timed to coincide with an employer ‘summit’ hosted by Business in the Community (BITC)  to discuss veterans’ employability and share best practice. Employers who wish to promote the opportunities and support they can provide to veterans and spouses are encouraged to sign up for this exciting pilot project, designed to bring employers and jobseekers together in an online careers fair environment.

The 2016/17 Scottish Veterans Fund has generously awarded SaluteMyJob with £7,000 to help us connect small and medium-sized businesses with veterans in Scotland. In September this year, SaluteMyJob, in partnership with BFRS will run a virtual job fair, aiming to help employers find hidden talent and to help Scottish veterans into employment. SaluteMyJob are very excited to have been given such a generous donation towards helping Scotland become the destination of choice for those leaving the military.
